Bruce Lusby

With 16 years of business development and relationship management experience, Bruce is excited to use his skills for his clients in the mortgage industry over the past year. Bruce is active in the community and has played a leadership role in founding a number of fundraising and public awareness events. He is a founding board member and was fundamental in the creation of the Chain Of Lakes Trail Association (COLTA); founding committee member and Prize Chair of the William Dennis Memorial Golf Tournament in aid of Pediatric Epilepsy at the IWK; founding committee member and Co-Chair of Get Up There for Colorectal Cancer Research and Awareness in Nova Scotia; and founding member of The Holiday On The Harbour Charity Ball in aid of children’s charities.

Margaret Craig

Margaret is a proud Haligonian who has lived in Halifax for over 25 years and attended Saint Mary's University (SMU MBA '12). Barry has worked in the energy conservation and energy efficiency industry for 34 years. He began working with Efficiency Nova Scotia in 2012 as community outreach coordinator and works with Nova Scotians in the residential and commercial sectors to find cost efficient energy solutions.

Emo started the "MoneyWorld" conference as a collaboration between industry experts to achieve the goal of helping people manage their money. He is also the founder of EjiTech Group, an MBA and B.Sc graduate, and author of a 'How to Save Money' blog.

Peter Gillespie

Peter Gillespie, owner of Brass Tacks Inspection Services, achieved the Certificate in Home Inspection through Dalhousie University. This intense program offered all aspects of home inspection training and has given him a leg up in the industry. His eye for fine detail, and drive for perfection, adds to his talent of being one of the best home inspectors in HRM.

Peter began his passion with homes and construction at an early age. His father, a contractor living on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, had Peter employed on numerous home renovations and construction projects. Peter learned at a young age how the fine details and looking deeply into the problems home owners face, offered him the ability to see small issues that could potentially expand to larger more expensive issues. Basically, he got down to the “Brass Tacks” of construction at an early age. His career path took him into sales, more specifically with the flooring industry. This training and career path added to his interest in homes and construction as he continued his work with residential renovations and construction.

Focusing on consumer bankruptcies and proposals, Matt has been working in the insolvency field since 2005. An Insolvency Counselor registered with the Office of the Superintendant of Bankruptcy, he is currently enrolled in the National Insolvency Qualification Program with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.
